Since I have last written, I have returned home gone through the stressful re-entry process, graduated high school, spoke in front of 6,000 people at gradation, started college, and joined a sorority. All have been wonderful things. Last spring break I was even able to go back to Berlin to see my family and even experience the turkish wedding of my cousin.
In this upcoming school year I am interning for AFS as the Returnee coordinator intern. I'm really looking forward to this position. I want to further the position and strengthen the communication with all returnees. With AFS I am also the Returnee Coordinator for Missouri, and I am the co-coordinator for the orientations. AFS is a passion of mine that is a top priority (after school of course).
This WIner break I am going back to Germany with the school of business. I'm sooo excited for this trip that is coming up faster than I can process. I am going to be visiting people I havn't seen since my exchange year, and students who lived here in past years as AFSers. Follow my blog to see what the future has to hold for me! Its very exciting and I can't wait.
Right now i should be packing to be back at school, but I'm writing instead. I cant wait for Recruitment. Formal recruitment is going to be great!
