So weather is dumb and I believe that winter is the worst time if the year. When I'm older and have a choice if where I want to live I want to live so where there really is no winter. It can get colder but staying away from any place that can get a lot of snow is the goal. Snow ruins everything.
Yesterday when the trained didn't go we were close enough that we could drive, but today I wanted to meet up with Jenny in Hamburg and the train didn't go either. This time we are too far away to just drive. Der Zug nach Hambrg fällt aus... such a terrible saying to hear.
I was woken up to the call of breakfast at about 11:30... My alarm never went off... Great. So we had to miss the train we were going to take to get to Hamburg. We finished breakfast then I got ready and we checked to make sure the train was running. It was. So we headed over to the train station and of course the train wasn't going. Right now it's above freezing and it's raining. So I'm not sure why it's not going. We came back to the house and just chilled all day. i really wanted to see jenny since she has been in Spain all semester, but yea i had no choice. I decided to work on my english assignments for my online class that I'm still working on. I actually got another assignment done which is really great! Then I came upstairs and saw that the Christmas tree was standing and was all decorated. Christmas trees are really interesting in Germany. There are actually real candles that get lit on them and all the ornaments match in some way. Most of the ornaments are just the plain round ones. But its still really pretty. I then read for the rest of the time to give my brain some time to relax before I start my next english assignment.
I figured out my plan on how and when i'm getting to Frankfurt to meet up with Marta and Jan, and even have a placed saved for me on the train to Frankfurt to make sure I don't have to stand for 3.5 hours.
Although today was a pretty uneventful day I'd call it a pretty productive day :)
