Saturday was basically driving all day.
We went to Multnohma Falls. It's a a huge double waterfall with a heart shaped pool at the bottom. It's the largest fall in the area, but there's several others all in the same area. I have plans to go back to them this summer and hike to several of them.
Not all of them! It was a gorgeous stop. Since we couldn't check into our hotel until later we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the England vs Italy World Cup game. It was a great match to watch! Afterwards we checked into the Hotel and headed back into Portland... The land of no sales tax! We went to Ikea since my mom had never been there before and we got a few things for my apartment for this upcoming semester that I could use in the mean time.
We went to Voodoo donuts at 9 pm and still had a bit if a wait to get donuts. They were, however, delicious!
Sunday we took it easy. We slept in for the first time since the trip started and then went into Portland to walk around a bit. We went into Powell’s bookstore. The weather was super rainy, so we went back to the hotel and just hung out. We checked into my place of residency this summer. Colby moved in later that evening.
We then explored the area and went to target. Then we went into Portland to pick up a few more Voodoo donuts in preparation for our road trip the next day. It was fun to just be able to explore the area, and know that I am home for the summer.
