Is this real life?

Have you ever been somewhere and all you can think is... "Wow, am I dreaming? This can't be real. "?
That is how I would describe many of the sights inside of Yellowstone Park. While standing by the mineral pools and geysers the views were so breath taking I honestly thought I was going to wake up soon because it was just hard to believe they really existed.

Early this morning we left our hotel in  west Yellowstone and headed to Yellowstone Park. We first went to the paint pots. These are famous for what my mom refers to as the pop and stinks. Something in the ground goes pop and a sulfur stinky rotten egg smell comes up. Of course Eva and I not knowing what they look like my mom tells us to stand by it and wants to take a picture. My mom and I are photo crazy, so normally this would not be an odd occurrence. Well she was taking pictures of us as we got a lovely whiff of the rotten eggs instead and stood far away enough that she wouldn't have to smell it lol.

We saw a ton of bison in the park. They were all over the place. We were even stuck on the road for a good 20 minutes waiting for them to cross the street. There was a HUGE heard of them. I, as a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon -Zeta Kappa, was on the look out for a moose. Zeta Kappa has its own mascot given to us by our founders and we are known  as the moose chapter. I unfortunately did not see any real moose, but it was the effort that counted lol.

We found out mascot for the trip today. With the amount of bison we saw it was only appropriate the have a bison as the mascot. We decided to name him Baby Bobo Bison. We are now taking him around everyone kind of like a flat Stanley and taking pictures with him lol. It's funny.

After Seeing one of several things in the park we decided to head to our next destination... Boise, Idaho.

The park has next to nothing when it comes to cell service. So as soon as we got outside of the park my phone started to vibrate quiet a bit letting me know I had several missed text messages. Upon reading them I realized that Spain's national soccer team was playing the Netherlands in their first game of the 2014 World Cup tournament.  I had received a text saying the score was 2:1. I didn't read the text very carefully size I had several to read, but because of Spain's history of being the current European and world reigning champions, I figured Spain was winning. Later I got a few more texts stating the score has escalated to 4:1 and I read the text more carefully. I was incorrect.  The Netherlands was actually in the lead! I watched my text messages like a hawk until the end with a final score of 5:1 the Netherlands won! I was so shocked and happy! I am a huge lover of soccer and especially the German team. My last night living in Germany four years ago was the night of the 2010  World Cup when Spain knocked Germany out of the tournament, so when Spain, a total powerhouse team, loses Im really happy! I celebrated (jumped around in my car saying "ohh yea! Ohhyea!") a bit while driving lol

I finished reading the best of me by Nicholas sparks today with two hours to go to Boise. I cried because it was a Nicholas Sparks books and all his books have something sad happen on them, but I'm now two books left of his and I will have read every heart wrenching books he has written so far. The Best of Me is coming out in theaters soon, and honestly I don't know if I'd be able to handle watching it in theaters. I think I cried just as much as when reading the notebook.
